The critically acclaimed first-person shooter Battlefield 1 is the 15th instalment of the Battlefield series and was released in 2016. It received mostly positive reviews by critics and was praised over previous instalments in the series with the World War I theme and campaign taking the spotlight. The game sold over 15 million copies.

Race the Sun

(Available November 16 to December 15 on Xbox One)

Inspired and influenced by arcade games, Race the Sun is an “endless running” game where the player controls a solar-powered spaceship. Dodging your way around objects like incoming laser beams and other ships, players can claim pick-ups to enhance the game.

Assassin’s Creed

(Available November 1 to 15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360)

Given the hype surrounding Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, it’s no wonder that Xbox is jumping on to enjoy the wave. The action-adventure game published by Ubisoft incorporates stealth and depicts the struggles between the Assassins, who fight for peace and free will, and the Templars, who focus on control.

Dante’s Inferno

(Available November 16 to 30 on Xbox One and Xbox 360)

Developed by Visceral Games and published by EA, it was released back in 2010. The game is very loosely based on Inferno, the first canticle of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. A game played in the third-person, the game received generally positive reviews upon release with critics praising the game’s art style and level design.
